That's a good deal - if didn't just buy the Bandit I'd jump on it.

Well even though a friend is making me a fender princeton clone for a tele build I'm making him, this was too good to pass up. Just ordered mine, thanks to my gasseous co-fiends!

I bought mine brand new from MP for $165 shipped last year. I don't know how often the new units go on sale though. Great little amp.

So 119 for the 15 watt. It mentions a 1 watt input. Is that right and is it actually use full getting tube saturation toneS at low vol? Reverb decent? What control knobs? I couldn't find a pic of the panel.

On the model with the blue reverb tank, the reverb is decent. The old model... not so much.

Yes the <1 watt mode is awesome. You get some very saturated tone at lower volumes. It's still not quiet by any means. Actually I think most people would be surprised at how loud that <1 watt mode is. It just breaks up sooner, especially with a hot pickup.

What model is the one for sale? Blue reverb? What other controls on this one?

knobs are in the 4th pic ,and judging from the pics it's the one with top mounted knobs. No 5 watt left and 4 15 left ordered mine Wed, night should be here Monday. This shipped from Cincy last stuff I ordered from them came out of Cali. I'm not sure if they opened a midwest warehouse or if it's coming from a refurbisher. Ireember the top mounted knob model was a rebranded Laney cub 12r I haven't heard one way or another if the front knob model still it . I'm guessing so.

If I didn't already have a 15 watter and a couple of the 5 watters, I would have been all over this.

I did recently pick up a refurbished Monoprice 25 Watt integrated tube amp for $55.00.
Didn't need it but couldn't pass up the price. I put it in the guest room. It sounds pretty nice and was well worth the cost.

Are those the hybrids with the SS power amp?
I've been eyeballing their home audio tube amps for awhile now. No need for one, but you know how it goes.

Next time you are in Salem, swing by Norvac on N Commercial, up around Academy or so. Jim has one in there you can listen to. Or at least he did a week or so ago.

I used to buy parts from them, when they were still on Commercial. It's been awhile, I'm probably due for a visit.
    Thanks for the heads up!

No worries. Jim and Bonnie bought the Salem location from the previous owner when he was shutting all the Norvac stores down and moved it a few blocks north to the other side of the street. They're good folks.

Yep. That’s the one. It uses a pair of 6P15 & 6N2 tubes for the pre section and two LM1875 monolithic class B chips (one per channel) for power.

Okay. I just bought a 15 watt Monoprice tube amp for $148 shipped. Thanks for the heads up. Now I get to tell my wife how it would have been stupid NOT to have bought it.

Don't worry about the wife--if she appreciates tube amps, she'll love it, too. Give it a little time for the Celestion speaker to break in--it's a little stiff and harsh sounding at first, but gets better. Check the power tubes also, they're cheap Chinese. A couple of matched JJ's will really wake it up. All in all, it's a great deal for < 2 Benjamins.
