Thanks, Tom. I have them on my watch list... I bought a Les Paul style bolt-on neck from Eden a few years ago, and it seemed pretty good. I never got around to using it, though. Not sure what happened to it. I just like the look of the inlays in that rosewood neck I posted above. They're closer to what a '58 Jazzmaster fretboard looked like, and the pearloid looks real nice. The inlays in the Eden neck look too square to me.

Yeah, it could be anything, but after you get it just right, keep your eye on it for a while.

Nice. I got a telemaster body from the seller before he had this body. I was going to get this one with the last eBay coupon but he had updated his shipping policy to exclude Hawaii. Not sure why as I paid the premium on the first body so profit wise for him should have been the same. I did see I can order direct from his website though, just without the eBay discount.

Anyway keep us posted. Intrigued to see the direction you go in.

    So am I! :)

Sorry he won't ship to HI. I don't understand that. I can understand why people won't ship internationally, but shipping to HI or AK shouldn't be any more trouble than shipping to one of the lower 48 states, as far as I can figure.

Unless he doesn't charge for return shipping, that is... Probably a greater risk for damage, too.

I'm terrible about stopping for pictures. I'm always in get it done mode, and then forget until after!

I've always been fond of cherry (the color) as used by Gibson on the SG.

Yeah, I constantly forget to take pictures... and when I do take pictures, I take about a hundred of 'em each time, because, you know, some of them are gonna be blurry, or too dark, or too light, or the edge of my finger is in it, or my toes are in it, and I won't see any of that stuff until it's on my computer monitor. So then I have to sift through a pile of photos looking for the best ones, and my perfectionist nature kicks in... Then about six hours later, I have to resize them all so they won't take up your entire screen... And I haven't even written a word yet!

It reminds me of when I was running a magazine! I didn't get paid for that, either! :ROFLMAO:

I don't mind the color, I just think it's played out... I'm tired of seeing SGs in Heritage Cherry. Same thing with 335s (I know, it's sacrilege). I wish Epiphone would make a 335/Dot in some colors other than Heritage Cherry, Black, and Vintage Sunburst. But you have to buy a 339 if you want Pelham Blue.

Yep... I was planning on trying that if I go with the trans red. I'm going to get a Golden Age bridge and trem from StewMac... Might as well take a look at their wood dyes while I'm at it.

Too late for that... The body's already been ordered. :)

    Here's the seller: https://www.ebay.com/str/rosserguitars

This should be a cool project. I really dig that body style and thinking I want one for myself LOL. For colors I would be partial to a TV yellow, or a sparkly CAR. The shell pink would also be killer.

I'm wondering if you can get the same effect with a heat gun... I just got a brand new heat gun. :)

Not a fan of antigua. I'm a fan of the paint job he shows off on the prototype in this video (first time is at 3:54)

@andrewsrea Only the ergonomics and shape would be different. So... yes?
I really liked the feel of the Talman offset, just wished the pickups had more warmth and body to then.
