I do too and I never saw it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a "one of " from years ago that was just now found tucked away behind something in the back of the warehouse. I picked up an old style AL-3000M that mysteriously appeared on the site a couple years after they were last in stock and figured that's what happened...

They are not quite as nice, but close.

The humbuckers in mine were super muddy, but that's an easy fix. 49ca07db7a572b7932f7728b49c92c98.jpg 3e68206d5dd86a3fefaa074f31767c2e.jpg b86e47ce8148ac352f4c409028a1a924.jpg 7df7b0a89cddfc01de5ebe4373101805.jpg

I gassed over those for a while, but never pulled the trigger.

I have a Douglas thinline with the P90s and they are very good. I have no plans to ditch them.

I've never seen a Douglas in person, but have a Harm. I noticed the trim and finish differences (in @dabbler 's post)

I had a Douglas tele for a while, it had been upgraded with DragonFire pickups and was a very good tele.

Douglas used to be “in between” Agile and SX in the Rondo pecking order. There were teles, the Ceti, the “Classic” which was their version of an AD-201, and many more.

my 2nd harm also has speed knobs. looks better with black plastics imo. would have done it to the gold one if I had kept her.

I've got a gold hardware makeover and Gibson made minis from a limited run Epi (I think it was a Sheraton anniversary model) planned for a white Harm I've got. When I finally get around to it, I'm definitely going to ditch the chrome Tele style knobs for some black speed ones...

I love my Ceti. I got the P90 version and didn't have a problem with them at all. I thought they sounded pretty nice - but I replaced them with a set of Modern P90 pickups from Harpmaster and then it sounded even better. I have zero plans of parting with this guitar - it's great.
