Put these on my epi lp special, and what a differance. The stock tuners really sucked, was always tuning up and down hoping it would catch in the right spot, and stay. Never did. Realy like
This guitar and love the p90,s.so went ahead and invested 60 bucs into this $99 new epi. Well worth it.this guitar is just a pure rocker and is p90 fun and then some.
Late night playing with the honey tone, Surprisingly sweet set up. Planet wave lockers are great, and love how they just clip the string off. Read alot about how the e and b string have problems. No problens here. But when drilling i suggest going part way through from both sides with the drill. Or the headstock veneer chips. Mine did on two holes ,super glued the pieces back on. Good enough, and lesson learned. 20190211_232431.jpg 20190211_232346.jpg 20190211_232709.jpg s-l400.jpg

    Unquestionably, my fav locking tuners!

Solid, stable and no tools needed for string changes!

    Congrats and enjoy!

I always liked them and have no complaints on how they function. I just wish you could get them in all one color, chrome specifically.

They are sweet. I need to get a set for my Agile tele since I had Sperzels on it, but moved them to a guitar without string trees, but I had already sold the Grovers I took off on some other guitar.

Those holes enhance low frequency response and impart an overall organic tone.

I love my PW lockers as well.

It has been my experience that exposed holes can be a good thing. YMMV.

Second only to exposed holes left by moved strap buttons.

if it was a midrange guitar I 'm with you as to finding a direct replacement,
but on a sub 100 dollar git who cares!

I'm a sucker for locking tuners. Even when the original tuners work fine I like to replace them. Just so much more convenient even when you know how to make non locking tuners more stable.
