I'm back, I've listened, I dig it. This is the type of album that needs a bit of time to sink in, but I think once it sinks in this'll likely stand as one of the stronger albums in their catalog.

I've been told by friends that most IP Torrent sites have this album now. Since I don't use them, I wouldn't know for sure.

I just finished listening to the complete album. I have to agree with Shred. Compared to the mountains of shit most bands put out today, this one rocks. However, using Tool values, it ain't that great. I really like Invincible, Descending and especially 7empest. However, what it really made me want to do is to go back and listen to Undertow again, my favorite. Tool is the type of band that the full impact of a new album doesn't hit you at first. You need repeated listenings and a little time to form a decent opinion. I think that mine may improve down the road. I hope so.

For those that have yet to hear the new album, be warned that there is a Taylor Swift guest hidden track on it. After the last track ends, let it continue to play for 3:17 and the "hidden track" will begin. or, you can just watch it here:

So where is this leaked album? I assume it’s the CD version without the three extra segues?

    Asking for a friend....

    Thank you

Unfortunately I’m in the dark ages....

I’m all analog...if it’s got more than three knobs, I’m out! Lol

Forgive my technological shortcomings...I know I’ve tried to peruse the torrent section years (decades?) ago after Napster became obsolete but was never successful. How does that work? Does it require software? A computer? Can I get it on my iPhone?

I hate to see a new album being ripped and basically out there before it even hits the store's but I guess it's just the way it is in the digital age.

I'm stuck on Country Squire by Tyler Childers at the moment, but I'll probably download it to my Amazon music and stream the heck out of it when it drops there.

Personally this never really bothers me ..the alternative is it's ripped and put online the day it comes out (which is this Friday), so I really don't see a big difference between it being online on Monday versus Friday. People who want to support the band will buy the album regardless and the people who don't want to support them will just download it for free anyway.

Honestly if the vinyl edition was available on the day of release I would have just waited a few days to hear it that way, but bands kind of shoot themselves in the foot a bit when the physical media is hard to get (or fans are made to wait a long time for it). As of right now it's 3 days until the album is "officially out", the CD edition is basically sold out everywhere, and not a word has been shared about when the vinyl will be available...and it's not like the band didn't know that demand for the album would be insane given that fans have waited over a decade for it.

Yep, having listened through the new record twice today, I can confirm I'm rockin' this one tonight:

Yep, that's the one I always wanted as well, block inlays and ebony fretboard is perfect. I've had 3 Agile Silverburst AL's and I ended up selling all 3 cause a Silverburst just doesn't look or feel right with Rosewood fingerboard, and all 3 of the ones I had had a rosewood board. I was also in need of cash and able to flip them for a profit (2 were Bstocks from the Agile Dauntless era that were $99 from Rondo).
My other was what got me started on Rondo back in 2006ish? A 2800 Silverburst. Man, that was 13 years ago...

and we don't even need to mention the Epiphone silverburst, it's not a teardrop burst and doesn't look right

Only thing missing is the back binding. This guitar brought me here. It’s the best guitar I own.

I agree, the teardrop burst is where it’s at, and the epiphone is trying to be the LP Custom with no ebony fretboard and teardrop burst, it definitely misses the mark. However, I don’t mind the edgeburst on the Gibson Classic Custom version.

Ignore my shitty double chin lol
