    I have the thought that just possibly, if the modulation of the delay section can be cajoled into something resembling a tremolo, this could be a standalone "everything-I-need" piece of outboard gear, live, in conjunction with a clip-on tuner

    I'd love to gab about my incoming toy :cool:

    I used to hang at the Gretsch DP, but not since their whole databse got screwed completely up some years back. My credentials don't even work there anymore, the "forgot password" link gives me a 404, and I don't want to re-register under a different name

    Congrats! I've lusted after one of those on several occasions, but they weren't available at the time.

    So, the Mystery Brain pulled into the station this weekend.

    It's a magical sound, for sure.

    Definitely NOT a plug and play deal, though
