Just arrived at lunchtime ,haven't really messed with it other than tune and give it a semi quick lookover . First the center is more greenish than whitish in the pics. It goes from a light greenish blue to a sweet blue on the edges. Flame is reasonably well matched and the grain between the flames is lovely up close. Binding is perfect with a slight exception where the 2 ends meet at the top of the headstock just slightly imperfect in the edges of that one corner. Tight grain and evenly dark ebony, MOP traps well fitted fret ends don't feel them at all running my hands up and down the neck. Bad the output jack is too loose to plug into without the nut so until I fix that it doesn't get run through an amp. Weight as a guess is at least 10 maybe 11 pounds judging by my other AL's. Oversize strap pins are on but not as nice as @tvvoodoo well hung pins. Stock pics untill I get mine up. BTW I love it . s-body.jpg s-lneck.jpg s-l1600.jpg

Congrats! That's a nice oceanburst top. Is that 3100mcc a bit thicker than the old ones?

@Razzle It's 1 15/16 son its old thickness some may be thinner never knew which. these should show the greenish tint it's not a bad thing kind of a blue green turquo 0208191655.jpg 0208191659.jpg ise water look. I may put creme knobs on think they'd look better than the amber.

Yes, the few MIV 3100MCCs Kurt brought in are just a hair under 2" thick...

That's the best looking ocean burst I've seen.

New knobs for sure, do they just put amber knobs on everything?

Looks good. I'll have to hold it up to a mirror.

I didn't look at the origin label until you posted that. It is Viet made, I will say all the what ifs and nay sayers about Viet QC were wrong ,it truly looks better made than my other 3 agiles from Korea. The setup is good and feels very playable the only question is pickup sound and we all know how subjective that is.

I've got one too (a CSBF) which is the primary reason I didn't have a strong interest in the oceanburst, and I've posted the same about it in the past. I don't recall what the pickups sounded like as I had a set of Buddhas waiting for it...

Congratulations! Nice guitar - I've got the same one but with the maple fb. I have these blue/white knobs on mine and I like the way they look. (I'm still amazed how much guitar you get with the 3100mcc.)

@Tiga Where did you get those knobs, exactly what I want. @mbroadus yep amber on Agile seems to be the rule not sure if it's because Kurt has cornered the amber tophat market or it's just a standing order

Unfortunately they were on the guitar when I bought it. Although I've seen similar knobs on parts sites (some ebay one's come to mind). I'll keep my eye out for you.

I found some crème ones for my oceanburst 3100MC that matched up pretty well but that was a long time ago. I'll try to dig around in my receipts and see if I can find the source. That could take a while though. However, I'm motivated because I could use a few more sets:
