Yeah, I keep staring at it, but $400 is nuts for a used AD-2800 plus shipping, especially with that paint chip. Plus, I'm not a big fan of rosewood fretboards on Agiles. If this were ebony and a fair bit cheaper, I'd own it by now.

That paint chip looks very familiar...didn't someone just post here for advice about repairing that exact guitar recently?

Whoops. Maybe I need some etiquette lesson about being more stealthy in case a local has finger on trigger?

Also, I guess pretty much every deal on an Agile on Reverb is AGF public knowledge.

How often does an AD come floating through Reverb or GC? I was assuming they were pretty scarce?

They aren't plentiful as AL's but not uncommon to see, it was a regular production model for many years. This one has a custom finish but it's still basically the same guitar. Seems like a pretty steep price to me, even without the crack.

I thought that seemed off, too.

It says he takes offers. Fuck it, send him one.

I can't buy from someone who says a guitar is mint and has a chip. I immediately get a feeling that there's something else he isn't telling me (unless I talk to the person and find them to be clueless). I'd be interested in 27", but I'm also concerned about whether that's accurate as @rrobbone & @slaveunit mentioned.

LOL this guy is the best. Gotta love a seller who calls the guitar he's selling "low end" right in the listing.

Thank goodness it's backward handed and has that chip. I'll let you Righties figure out who wants enough to bite.

It could be but if you count the frets it has 24.

EDIT: Recoutned...crap...it actually does have 22 frets I think.

I agree, to me this chip happened when it fell over and stressed the neck joint. There is no way this chip just happened thorough wear and tear. I would like to see the other side of the pocket joint to see if the poly has a crack. Hey...it has a long neck, more prone to this level of stress when dropped or konked into a wall.

When I first noticed this thread I misread it as "Custom add on reverb"
and wondered what was so special about it. :)

To my eyes, it looks like a standard scale AD. The seller might have just pulled a Kurt, and copy pasted the description from another guitar.
In all probability, the OP guitar is just this:
    http://www.rondomusic.com/ad2800blu.html

For reference, here's what an AL 27" scale looks like. 24 frets, and visibly longer neck.

Hmm.......... I have been diagnosed with ADD that was custom ordered.

"I'm loosing my focus, and time-released Ritalin is the only effective treatment to gain it back:.... Doc..... I promise.
