    I have one. They are NOT very good unless you play them with a slide.
    All kinds of intonation problems otherwise.

    Yeah it actually says they're meant to be played horizontally...interesting. Not my thing at all, but ya just don't see these often so I figured I'd post it :)

    I have a Johnson reso in tobacco. Very similar I think. Its s fun toy but yes the intonation is atrocious. Makes it sound more authentically bluesy.
    I thought it was because it was a cheap copy but the $1000 dobro brand was just the same.

    I used to have one. It had a few finish flaws, but it sounded and played above it's price, which was about $150 I think.
