Hey folks, after much work (probably the most effort I ever put in a 2:40 mins end result) the latest solo project track was released.
The style on this one is somewhere between hard rock and old school heavy metal

Hope you'll dig it and let me know what you think

Nice track. That opening drum beat had me thinking of "Living After Midnight." Tasteful use of the wah on the solo. What are you using for the guitar tones?

Thanks. I'm recording guitars right into the audio interface, running through Amplitube 4 and using 2 UAD EQs as well.

I like that a lot but to me it so begs for vocals to feel finished to me. I hope that isn't insulting as you were showing this as a finished product. It really was great just kept expecting to hear some Dio type vox kick in :)

I got several comments like this. You know, with the right vocalist I wouldn't mind turning it into a full song

A little bit of Priest, some Maiden, a teaspoon of Megadeth, a dash of Dio... what's not to like?

Damn you great guitar players and your "chops". :grinning:

Seriously--great stuff. Brings back memories of blasting early 80's Priest while "heading out to the highway".

Well that's the trick isn't it, easier to pan for gold in the tennessee river than it is to find a GOOD vocalist!

    Great song though!

As usual a fine Metal effort from you Valentin. Sure, the song could add vocals, but that is true of any composition. Instrumentals make up a large portion of my listening anyway.

@Razzle -why is it hard to pan for gold in the Tennessee River?

not that I'm Razzle or expert gold panner , but the fact it has 9 dams and is on avg between 9- 10 feet deep pretty much makes it opposite of typical gold bearing streams and rivers.
