My girl just ordered me the orange rocker 15 amp for my birthday in 2 weeks. Was going to get me the th30 but not playing in band anymore, so thought why have her spend so much when it seems the 15 will do the job. For hone our gigs. Love to hear your guys thoughts on this amp. Thanks

killer amp. wonderful clean tones in addition to the drive. I almost bought one, but opted for a blackstar artisan 10 aniversary.

    my fave review...

Oh yeah.. nice versatile amp. Been using it for a while now and I didn't even know there is a output selector switch behind it that you can go to .5 watts. Dumbass..:hearteyecat:

@Pilipete_Townshend I'm not familiar with that particular modal but I have used a solid state Orange amp with a 12" speaker and I believe it's 60w and it's a little beast. It belongs to a close friend of mine that I've played a lot of music with. So if that is as good as I think it is you've got yourself a little beast there. I like it (y) don't know how I missed this thread the first time through but awesome present you got there my friend.

I had a Micro Dark which was outstanding and even an Orange Crush that I had for a short while which sounded pretty damn good for the price.
I was chasing a Rocker 30 a while back, I'd imagine the Rocker 15 is gonna sound sweet like an Orange should.

I was pretty surprise when I tried the amp at guitar center which is really versatile for an orange tube amp. 2-channel clean and dirty, 3 band eq, effects loop and has wattage selection switch. 15 - 7.5 - 1 - .5 watts. the power output selection is really well balanced. (whatever sound your getting from 15 watts dialing low to .5 watts sounds the same with no over modulation in certain frequencies.) Same thing with the 3 band eq. when you dial bass, mid or hi, it doesn't bottom out or cross frequencies from each other means the sound is always full.
So its a very good candidate for band practice, jam, up to a bedroom sound.

...... I heard the rocker 32 is so much better than this version in a way that you can set it up as a stereo. Its like having 2 rocker 15 in one package.

I saw this video for I was wondering why the amp has a wooden feet.
This is something you wont get on the new marshalls anymore.
