Yep. It would have to be done privately.

All seems to be in good shape. Going to be a long afternoon.

    @tomringg Congrats that looks sweet!!

Glad I held out / but sad I did! ??

First substantial GAS I have had for a while.
Price to value almost sucked me in to that vortex as well.

Very nice! Deal of the year, or close to it.

I'd be interested to know what's hiding underneath that pickgaurd. If it were mine and there were no surprises under it, I'd be plotting ways to get a smaller PG made for it.

I was able to play it a bit last night unplugged. Guitar was very nicely set-up as received - nut height, neck relief, string height & intonation all seem good. I tuned it up & it was ready to go. The guitar came with 9's & had that nice snap to it. Bends are easy & it stays in tune well.

The feature that pushed me into the vortex to buy this guitar was the 9.5" radius neck. Most of my guitars have flatter necks & I wanted to see if there really was a big difference. The neck was very comfortable to play & I could feel more curvature across the neck. Got to say I like it. I wonder why more off-brand guitars don't offer it.

The guitar is definitely a great deal at $200 (after pending rebate). Will it be twice the guitar of my SX thinline? We shall see:)

I'd ask at Reverb. They're usually pretty easy to get a live person on the horn.

Im kinda bummed on this missing this one but oh well. There's always gonna be another "deal". I think the VM line is no more, morphed into the Vintera series. I could be wrong.

I know if i ask it'll get the listing removed and it's all good. I still get people messaging me about doing rewinds so I still get orders for them even if I don't have an active listing.
I think their listing might be flying under the radar cause they have done 10 transactions and i've done 800ish?

Can you duplicate the improved Fender version using a standard humbucker form factor?

Cause the screw magnets each have their own magnetic pull, closest way to duplicate in my opinion without using the screw magnets is using rod magnets. The wind of course can be approximated.

Yes sir, and here it is . Fit and finnish is excellent and the frets are perfectly level.
Would look better with clear pickguard , if i was to nitpick .
Pickups are fine for my playing .

Original '72 Thinline, Deluxe, & Customs in natural had a pearloid. I like it.

If you did a clear guard you'd see all the routing.

A nice quality celluloid tort looks good on nat grain too.

Congrats you guys. I'm kicking myself being a waffler. I gotta sort my health tho before buying more gear.

Nice, thought about getting one of these. I've heard they have somewhat of a chunky neck profile. Is that true?

That's good cause I heard they're a bit wishy washy on their rebates. Probably prevented me from getting one even though I already own one. 200 bucks is a great deal
