Anyone familiar with this guitar? Peavey does or did at one time make an import Session Guitar, but this one is different. They also had the Limited series out that were made in the same factory as Eddie’s guitar and this looks similar except for the headstock. This one Seems to have a nice quilted maple cap and a nicer maple finger board than the import model. The sticker says prototype as well. Also no indication that this was made overseas. And sorry, only images I have.

No info on the guitar but I'd be all over that like Oprah on a box of Krispy Kremes.

Based on the CE sticker, I'd say it was made overseas. Still, I'd probably pick it up if I saw one locally at this price just for curiosities sake.

Working on getting it, but the guy was non responsive for quite a while. I was curious if anyone had any knowledge of the model though. But I guess this might be the only model.

Good looking guitar, I'd jump on it for that price.

It is pretty quiet over there these days, but you could ask around at the Peavey forum

Did that and noticed after I asked that the last post was 2009 in the guitar area. Doubt I will get a response.

He just dropped it off at my work place and $80 later it is mine. I’ll post a NGD some time this weekend hopefully. Working 12 hour shifts for a while. It has a dink on the front that I need to fix.

That is one of the top threads that are (pinned & locked) by the admins, scroll down further & you will see recent activity, although the forum is not very active. They do have die-hard Peavey fans & sometimes current or former employees. You might find out further info on the prototype status.

Congrats on a beautiful guitar (I love that neck) at a steal of a price!

You got that nice guitar and even got him to drop the price down to $80! SWEET!!

Last month, there was this kid who put an ad in the local OfferUp for an Ibanez GSA60 which his mom bought him years ago and he never played. So, he was selling it with his mom's blessing. He wanted $90 for it and I told the kid all I had was $75 (which was entirely true because I had bought an Ibanez GRX70QA a week earlier. He accepted the offer! So, I went and met his mom (who was really cool!) in their town and bought it. I was surprised how light it was. I'm used to my Les Paul. Even my Strat seems heavier! But, it's a sweet guitar and it has a great sound.

Congrats on your NGD and that great score!!! Definitely research that beast!

I really don’t need any more guitars, but sometimes they are just too hard to pass up. I need to stop looking. It plays well. Hopefully all pickups work. The guy who had it knew nothing about guitars and did not ever play it. But did ding the top for me.

That's some SWEET birdseye action right there. You'd think it would be a more special model with that great figuring.
