I know D'Angelico has 30% off some of their guitars, but people on Reddit have complained about the quality of the brand and mentioned that these kind of deals on D'Angelico are pretty common. Anything you've seen?

Slinky strings are on sale 25% off (although not the ones I use, bummer):

I had forgotten it's "PRIME DAY" and just took a look see at Amazon. I wasn't looking for guitar stuff, but I didn't see any thing that jumped off the screen saying BUY ME. Happy shopping guys.

I didn't see any good guitar stuff, but half of the computer components I bought last week are on sale today. Would have saved me a few hundred dollars... They didn't have this good of stuff on the sale last year, so when I saw the parts drop in price last week, I thought that was the best it was going to get... I spend $848 on the monitor that is $719 today...

not sure if it's a prime day deal but snark tuner is a little less than $9 if yours is broken like they all are.

aside: it still boggles my mind that you can buy a handheld touchscreen computer (amazon fire 7" tablet) for $30. and that's not even a really great deal on one, i think the last one i got was $20. that's less than two beers with tip at the ballgame.

Last year, the 7" ones were $10, and the 8" were $20. I bought 5 of each, and give them out whenever one of my kids needs to go to a birthday party.
Also got a couple of the 10" ones for $70 (those are $100 this year - still a good value tablet at that price).

i think i actually got the 8" and a 7" for like $30 combined last year, which is absolutely ludicrous. at those prices they're very nearly disposable.

You might check with their Support and see if they'll honor the price. I did it once before with a vacuum I bought...a week later, and it was a Deal of the Day, and $100 less. They credited me the money back on my credit card, which was nice. Worst they can say is no, right? :)

I think anything in their warehouse which has not sold well over the last years goes up on Prime. A few, but very few deals to be had. The "best" ones seem to waitlist quickly.

Didn't see anything last year or this year...but really didn't have anything specific in mind.

Not guitar/audio gear, but gear-related in a roundabout way. I've had the below Respawn Essentials Racing Style Leather Gaming Chair on my wish list for like 2 years. Yesterday it finally dropped to a reasonable price ($72.23) from its regular price of $114.99 so I jumped on it. These are great double-duty chairs for playing guitar AND working at a computer (or gaming) because the armrests flip up and out of the way when you want to jam. Also grabbed a pair of black Levi's 511 jeans for $27.

I jumped on that chair now that you posted it; I've wanted a new desk chair, but I always am in the battle between arm rest and no arm rest for guitar vs computer work. Thanks for the share!
