    I thought he was going to live well into his 90s, at least.
    A real icon in the film industry. He will be missed.

    Full Metal Jacket wasn’t the same movie after he got offed.

    He should have won an Oscar for that performance.

    I passed him at a porta-potty at the Camp Perry National Rifle Matches. I was going out, he was going in.
    I admit it took a lot not to go all fanboy on him, but a man deserves some privacy at a time like that...couldn't have been more
    than 10 years ago.

    Everyone knows about the Full Metal Jacket performance, but I think his performance as the sadistic redneck sheriff in the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre was pretty good too.
