    Hi Guys,

So i bit the bullet on a cool body the other day as i've had my mind on a superstrat for the last few months. I've never really had to buy a replacement neck for a guitar so not sure where to start.

I know Carvin and Warmoth make some great parts but i'm not looking to spend $300 on the neck alone. Any info would be much appreciated. I've been torn between if i want a normal strat shaped headstock or something more 80s like the reverse banana.

Any idea if i can find something reasonable between $60-$150? I'm good buying used, especially Ebay as i have some gift cards...

For a keeper guitar, I'd see what Warmoth has ready to ship. If you don't want to go that high, Amazon has Mighty Mite necks for around $110. They are plain looking, but solid replacement necks for little scratch.

The Mighty Mite necks I have/had have been the least stable and experience the biggest changes due to humidity and required the most fret work.
Warmoth also has regular maple unfinished (MM is unfinished also) for $157.

I think my cheap KMise necks were better than my Mighty Mite...

Interesting, I haven't had any issues with the half dozen I've ordered... Save for a little fretwork no more than I'd expect for cheap necks. Maybe I'll try the kmise next time.

I will say that my 2 mighty mite necks with jumbo frets are pretty nice.
More importantly...you want this neck to be cut for a locking nut, yes?

Allparts necks have never let me down. I think they're as good as Fender (they say Allparts made the necks for Fender Japan, but nobody seems 100% sure).

I get them unfinished for $109 from the Stratosphere.

I think the have the most correct head stock too, especially the rounding of the back.
TRO-W is one of my favorites.
