So, I want to like Reverend guitars. I've owned two (Rocco and Buckshot) that didn't do it for me. I found the necks uncomfortable and I wasn't a big fan of the sound , of either.

I keep having GAS though for one of these

My preferred pickup combo is the Railhammer Hypervintage in the bridge, and the Railhammer take on the P-90

So, if I didn't like my previous Revs, what are the chances I'd like this? I'd love to hear from anyone who actually does or has owned one...thanks

Is the neck profile different enough ? I'm wondering if you can find the profile and figure out from that. But with just the info posted doubt you'd like the neck.

I like the rail hammer pickups better than Reverend pickups. I didn’t find the feel of the necks different.

See, that's what I'm thinking, I didn't like the other Rev necks (just too big a stretch for me, generally), I prob won't like this one. I love the clips I've heard of those Railhammer Hypervintage pickups. I do have one of those, I should just put it in the bridge of my PRS SE22, which currently has an EMG that I find too harsh. I LOVE the way that PRS plays; the neck feels awesome on it to me.

That's really what I oughta do, and forget this other nonsense, I have way way too many guitars as it is

That bayonet sure does look awesome, though

Curious what you didn't like about the necks, I have a warhawk and tho the neck is a lil more beefy than most of my guitars I actually like it, once I start playing it I get used to it quickly, I mostly play telecasters these days so i'm used to a slimmer neck.
That being said the newer Reverend guitars are much better than the ones from years gone by, but doubt the neck profile has changed much.

Just too big a stretch, making them uncomfortable to play for me.
Not sure whether this is due to scale length or neck radius or what
I never paid any attention to scale lengths in the past, but more lately some on-again off-again hand issues mean that some necks do bring tedium on my fretting hand quickly. And Rev necks seem to do that.

Google tells me Bayonet neck scales are 24.75; that's sorta on the shorter end, right?
I see the Buckshot is 25.5.

Yes, its shorter than Fender for the most part, the necks for tele's and strats is 25.5. Reverend tends to be Gibson scale. Their necks seem a little beefier to me, but by no means baseball bat like, thinner than agiles standard neck. I think they are 12" radius.
I suspect the newer Rev's are the same neck profile as they have had all along, but find one and play it, Reverend has been fine tuning their guitars the past few years and maybe the necks have changed a bit. I love all the ones I have played. Those rail hammers are pretty amazing pickups.

Just checked the neck thickness on my reverend. 19.5 mm at first fret, which I believe is the same as agile standard necks, actually seems to be the standard thickness of most Korean guitars.

My friend bought a similar model that has the same or similar pickup in the bridge and a P90 in the neck. She got it used from a local shop. I very much like it.

Hers has some sort of hard-tail bridge, though

    Good lookin’ guitar imho

I have really liked the looks of Reverends, esp the Buckshot. Need to find one and try it out.

I want to like them, but haven't warmed up to the body shape.
That's ok, since their lefty/P90 offerings are sorely limited.

    So. It's here.
It seems to rock pretty well.
I plan on gigging it tomorrow night
