Whats up everyone.. new to the forum
But i am trying to find some info on i believe a late or 70's model solid body
Its beautiful.. i have been searching for days, i can't find anything.
No serial number, and Samick states the early ones didn't get numbers.
This was there first design on there headstock in the 70's when they began making electric guitars.. but that's all i found out.. i am sure someone out there knows more or ideas to check other resources... the guitar shop guy.
I won't even go into that story.

I know those are pretty decent guitars. And pretty sure they were made at the same factory alot of other nice guitars were made. Those old 70,s les Paul are what I cut my teeth on growing up. Loved every one if them. But of course have to be set up good, like any guitar. I keep looking for a good deal on one. I bought a crown at the swap meet in 78, best guitar I have ever owned. Had a few others too.

I know nothing of that guitar, but have played several samick lp styles and they all seemed like solid guitars. Welcome aboard.

Samick made the Hondo II LP. If you look at the inlay and pattern is is only slightly different in that the Hondo headstock. The Hondo used to use the full "Open Book" shape. The Hondo II Pro used Dimarazio pickups as a selling point. I am not sure if the Samick Tree used them or not.

Yeah I looked at Wiki/ Samick.
That is the only reason in the picture I posted it states the music tree of Samick
Was there first label from 1972-1986
Several of the early models have no serial number. Wonder what these go for. Not that i will sell it. But i am going to open it up and see what kind of pickups. Pots , bridge marks if I can find anything...
There really is not alot of Early Samick Info online... Pawn stars here I come.
Just kidding. Adding to my collection.
Thanks for all the input Gents.

I actually have a 80's Hondo Acoustic that is absolutely brilliant... it is rosewood, sounds beautiful.
