One has to wonder what makes this forum so disproportionately sinister.

I suppose for as few lefties as Rondo deals in, it was still more than most of the market. Hence the attraction!

Before Kurt discovered 47 stringed instruments, Rondo was the best place on the planet for leftys.
Now it is one of the worst. :(

Epiphone currently offers a total of six electric models - a black Standard, a CSBF Plustop Pro, a black Custom Pro,, a dark cherry SG, a black bolt neck SG and a black Tommy Iommi signature SG.

    http://www.epiphone.com/Products/Left-Handed.aspx

Rondo currently has four Agiles in stock - a silverburst AL-3010SE, a tobacco burst AL-3100MCC, a CSBF AL-3100MCC and an oceanburst ALD-3010SE. Up until they both sold out a couple weeks ago, there was also an oceanburst AL-3200MCC and a TVY AD-2200 Reissue:

As slim as the Rondo lefty pickings have been the last few years, other than Gibson, Fender USA, maybe Gretsch and possibly Eastwood, to my knowledge, nobody offers any more of a selection. And certainly not at the Agile price point...

I discovered Rondo and AGF roughly 1.5 years ago. Rondos lefty selection then amazed me especially compared to other sites at the time. Apparently I missed the height of Kurts lefty selection, but i do seem to recall several 6 string baritone guitars among other goodies.

Schecter has a fairly good lefty palette, and I'm pretty sure they make pretty much anything in lefty if you get a large enough min buy.

Well now that we lefties have hijacked his thread, I hope the OP at least got an inkling of what he was asking for (and what he can expect when he posts on AGF)…:)

Hey, how does the Viet made Agile compare to the Korean ones? Just curious.

As far as the serial number in question, I compared it to some of my Agiles, and my GUESS is that this guitar is from 2016.

I've got a MIV CSBF AL-3100MCC and the quality is just as good as my MIK Agiles. The flame and burst is one of the nicest of the bunch...

Cool. Thanks. I wonder why he did not pursue making them in Vietnam outside of that one run. As far as I know it was only one run.

my LTD EC-256 was MIV, as is my HB CST24.

The HB is one darn nice guitar, the LTD was even nicer.

Hi, I don't know where it was made but plays like a dream. I am not a professional but lent it to a friend who is and he used it in his recording studio for a year and then 2 different pickers used it in concert, all loved it and could not believe the price I paid. I bought this guitar about 10 years ago and the serial number starts with 071.. that's why I have contacted Kurt at Rondo to see if maybe he could help. My friend went to Rondo Music, after he tried mine and also bought one immediately. Take Care

@Gergo Sorry I'm late, but TJ got it right.Quality is there 1 cosmetic imperfection the binding at the rop right corner of the headstock is slightly rounded leaving a 1/32 gap on a corner. The pickups are better than Korean Agiles , all in all I'd buy another without hesitation. Actually I didn't know it wasn't Korean untill tobijohn said something and I checked the serial number sticker.

Definitely Korean, based on the age alone, as @Gergo mentioned previously, the Vietnamese Agiles were a "one run and done" series a little over a year ago or so. Also, unlike the MIK AL-3100(M/MC/MCC) and AL-3200MCCs (nt sure if there were any MIV 3200s) of the last 3-4 years, the MIV 3100MCCs had the full 2" body thickness (at least mine did)...

Also the current lefty selection may be sad compared to the past you still have the huge selection of used rondos.
