Since Rick gave me a fantastic deal on a set of
Bareknuckle warpig pickups, I decided to try and build a project guitar around them. Got a hold of a really great looking guitar body, now hunting down a neck. If anyone has a gold tune-o-matic bridge, please let me know. More to come.

depending on what kind of neck you want check w/ GFS.

I have bought a few of their "finished" tele necks and they are AMAZING

Im seriously looking at getting 2 of their "pointy headstock" necks from their factory buyout, at $25 they are MUCH better priced than anywhere else I can find, and I need my points!

Thank you! I'll definitely look into it. The thing is I know Warmoth will be
a perfect fit but with GFS I might end up with gaps in the neck pocket. Still, definitely worth a look.

I can guarantee you that a Warmoth neck, while it will be nice, will be at least 300% as much as a GFS neck.

I'll look around on eBay. I don't mind paying 2 to 300 for a neck if it's very nice.

Maybe check with Harpmaster. I don't know if he sells just necks, but he has a source of REALLY nice necks that he uses on his guitars.

Darn, those both need locking nuts, but would look awesome with that body.

RE: Slowhand's 1st ever parts build

I've bought two GFS necks and have been pleased with both. The only problem I've had is that one neck had different shades of wood for the fingerboard and neck (it was a maple neck). It didn't affect playing, just appearance. GFS necks would be a good choice, especially if this is your first parts build. If you somehow mess up the neck, you aren't out a huge amount of money.

I think I'm actually going to keep it natural :). Thanks for all the links guys. I think I'm probably going to go Warmoth. [hr]
That's more or less the exact one I'm getting, just from warmoth
