I almost got it if it was maple.

I assume it's bad and must be hung on the wall as an ornament...

Rounded heel on tele looks like it was done after finish.

The unscalloped strat heel looks almost square. If you wanted to try a scalloped neck here's your chance. Might be good practice to play on one?

I'm in for this one. 9.5 radius, nitro finish, dumbo frets & clean looking in the images. $16.89? Areyoofuckingkidding? f991c12c631ded8b05b1a095c8eb9eb5.jpg

btw- I put a question in to the seller. If this is the donlis seller watermarked in the image I've bought cream pickups (*cough 36th anniversary cough*) from them recommended over at tdpri by antiguatele, who does a battery of tests on budget pickups & compares them to boutique pickups. The donlis pickups are remarkably well regarded so much that duh'murzio shut them down from advertising creme pickups. I would purchase from donlis. They have been pretty communicative.

    fyi-55.5mm neck heel = 2 1/4"

I'll follow up with the reply, if I get one.

*edit- That was quick. He says he doesn't sell on aliexpress. I'm assuming he poached the images then. I followed up with "are you donlis".

    Didnt know donlis sells necks.

    a) That’s how they did the neck heel on the double-cut Tele... After it was finished (only it wasn’t so yellow, so not as obvious). Either these necks were made in the same factory, or it’s a trend in cheap Chinese neck manufacture that makes no sense.

    2) I’ve heard of Donlis pickups... I’d be interested in hearing more about them.

I feel a weird obligation to buy a neck. I suppose I could keep it in the car as a self defense weapon (the tele one anyway :) )

For the entertainment. Thank you. It's getting boring in here.
The only winning bet here is this will be way more interesting than 9 lottery tickets.

Thanks for posting. I splurged and bought the $17 one he's selling.

(why do I feel I've just wasted $17?)

The tele neck I purchased says it has a nitro finish, jumbo frets, and a bone nut.

I'm actually laughing to myself thinking how much the real product won't have any of that. I'll be lucky if the headstock is actually tele shaped. I'll post my findings when (if) I get the neck - the fun is worth $17 alone.

Maybe the fine print says it's a keychain or something. I'm not worried, appears legit, ebay will protect me. He does have negative feedback from selling fake Elixir strings though.
