Brand new. Fret sprout. High Floyd Rose Nut. Jacked Floyd Rose bridge is tilted deep backwards into the recess. Send it back?

    Nope, not afraid.

Even bought a MF case for it before it arrived.

I can have a very pleasant conversation all by myself. I drink alone.

I'll tell you a story. The Floyd nut was way too high and so I sanded it down on a sander. Then, it was too low. I me s sed up. BUT, They included a shim which was weirdly factory installed, which I had previously removed. So, I sanded the nut too low and re installed the shim and now is PERFECT.

I don't get it... you're not sending it back? If you got a great deal on it and you're a good tech all issues sound fixable, but it'd have to be a killer deal for me to keep it (because I suck at that stuff).

You are absolutely correct, I should have sent it back, except I am somehow a sucker for this stuff. I have only returned one guitar ever. I have kept this guitar humidified for two weeks. No more fret sprout. Action is almost always easy to fix. Maybe the air conditioning wasnt waorking when they built it or maybe it was a Friday?

What model Charvel was it? I've been looking for one, have not heard of quality issues, even with the mex ones.

I had a white socal with black pickguard, wish I never parted. Then, I bought a san dimas in slime green with stickers all over it for $399. What a steal. Stickers came off without a problem. I sold it to help pay for family issues. Mistake #2. I love Charvel , I had 9 charvels at one point. Now I have one. I will throw it in a random dumpster or give it a way before I sell it. I am so tired of life (myself for that matter) giving way to having something always taking shit away from me after ive worked hard to get it for just something that makes me fricking happy
