Has anyone bought one of these Douglas thermometer cases? They look pretty nice for the dough.
No, but I bought a faux alligator Les Paul style case and a tweed rectangular Strat style case in 2012 and they are both top notch. I think I only spent $50 each.
They do look nice but what's the dough?
$30 bucks. Hell yeah! $300, not so hot.
No, but it looks like it would work with lefty Strats as well. I may need to get one.
Possibly work with Tele and SG (among other DC guitars?)
I have no experience with that particular case, but I do have 3 or 4 Douglas cases and no complaints.
They are better quality than the cases GC/MF sell for similar money.
Not for the Strats just AL and a rectangular for the sx. Those are nice for the money good solid cases , not tsa proof but good.
I do have a HSC that I ordered from Rondo when I ordered my Liquid.
It's a Douglas EGC-200 SJM.
I like it a lot. It's one of the rectangular cases, BTW.
I'm wondering which Doglas case (or other brand) would be a good fit for my Ibanez miKro bass.
Tell you what I also have a MF case I picked up on a SDOTD and a few points for $30 . I paid about what it's worth comparing quality with the Douglas cases I have. My SX case cost me just under $100 with shipping thru Reverb ,worth it to me.
yes, have one of those, in faux tweed and another in brown. Also have a TKL Fender thermometer case I got from UBuy.
The TKL only fits Teles, the Douglas fits strats, teles, and I think even my Valkyrie might have fit if memory serves.

I have a few of them for teles, it's a good case, but I don't make them go out much.
