This is giving me SERIOUS GAS! I like what I've read and heard online but now I need the experts. I might actually finally exit the one guitar club...which I think has only one member...

I have one and it's great. It's not a traditional Jazzmaster, but that's really the point of it. I love the pickups and the neck is superb.

It's either the Jazzmaster or a Wample r Tumnus Deluxe and a bunch of stuff for my PRS...my trigger finger is so itchy that I'm getting cramps! Is the Jazzmaster nice acoustically @msc_ ?

If you mean unplugged, I guess it’s the same as most any other solid body electric, though it probably sustains less due to the Jazzmaster/Jaguar bridge system. I’ve never paid attention to be honest. I liked the way it sounds better than my 60th anniversary Jazzmaster when plugged in when I a/b’d them a while back.

I have one. It's great, but I never play it. It's in my list of trade fodder when my local shop gets the Fender XII's in.
My only complaint is that the pickup switch is finicky and I just don't feel like taking the guitar apart to install the new one I bought! lol Oh, and I replaced the anodized guard with a red tort one and it looks totally bitchin'. 6d7cff4d54040020fc90139c0efd8202.jpg

    I duh ho
I have one too. Absolutely LOVE the neck and play ability. I still haven't found 'my sound' with it, but I could just run my fingers over the strings forever. One of the best playing guitars I own. What sold me on it was that the guitarist in the house band on the James Corden show was using one every night. It's a keeper for me.

I have one. Its a fantastic guitar.
    The neck is supercomfy.
    Sounds great.
    Looks cool (imho).
Swapped out the gold anodized pickguard for a black anodized.
    Put Rickenbacker-esque knobs on it.
Swapped out the ToM for a Wilkinson roller bridge.
