This was my favorite strap that used to be on my longtime fav strat. But I haven't been playing strats for a few years much so I put this on my fine al3001 it's one of my heaviest guitars at 9.5 lbs and the padding really makes the guitar weight disappear faster than a bulimic with a stomach flu.
Our model here is Willie. He's rocking an agile al3001 LP that's held effortlessly with his python print well-hung guitar strap. 20191230_123430.jpg 20191230_123433.jpg 20191230_123439.jpg

Lumpy the african spur thigh has no problems when he slings his SG. No stress on that back while playing a slow blues jam with his well-hung snakeskin print leather ultra comfy padded strap. Even a 160 lb sulcatta tortoise can feel the difference between the average strap and a well-hung strap. 20191230_124330.jpg 20191230_124257.jpg

What the hell? This is so cool you guys. Wow, I am speechless, I love animals too, particularly when cooked, but this just entered the wierd zone and I love it!

It looks like we only got about 7 or 8 people who posted pictures for this contest. That seems a sad turnout. Do we want to extend the deadline to allow more people to post. Not much of a marketing smash hit for such a great product and a great supporter of AGF. I personally feel bad it took me all year to even get to it. Maybe we can do better?

Appreciate your words here, but nah, this wasn't a newly-introduced idea for this community, nor was it extremely difficult to enter. You either wanted to enter, or cared not to. >Shrug<

I count 20 valid entries according to the rules, submitted by five separate entrants. I was generous in allowing a single ballot for a multi shot that included an animal. Chances are great pretty great for you fellas who followed the simple rules as set out. I expect to be posting the draw results tonight, once I do a short draw vid and upload/link.

My apologies for the delay in getting this done, I've been in a strange career roller coaster lately that is kind of forcing me to change my life around a bit, new challenges etc.
    Watch this space for more.

Sorry, it's late. Software computer issues or something. I also regret not mentioning nomadh's amazing above and beyond photos. mindblowing, and
really deserving of a prize, but alas no ticket drawn. Sorry also battling a bit of a cold.

Congratulations to our 2019 winners, I will be getting in touch this week.

Have not set rules for 2020 photos, actually not sure if this will continue seems interest is waning in general participation.
That said, I 103% appreciate any time someone posts a strap pairing, unboxing etc, but maybe this thing right here is getting kind of stale.

Your thoughts as user-customers-boosters are welcome

Congrats @Chocol8, @tomringg, and of course a huge thank you to our most awesome host @tvvoodoo for the fun and goodies. I know it's tough working all those extra hours at work (doing it myself these days), along with taking care of things at home and elsewhere, and then trying to find time to make some straps and hopefully play some guitar, Brad. I hope you have some relax time with the family. Thank you again for allowing all of us to show off your totally awesome straps a little, along with having a chance to get some more.

Congrats to the winners. Curious to see what strap will match the winning guitarist and guitar. It like having your own private interior decorator :)
@tvvoodoo, if you do a contest again I have a suggestion that may make it worth your while. How about you have a contest where you judge what picture highlights your product best. It would put the pressure on people creating pictures you can use for advertising. Be it showing in use onstage or at the beach or a jam or being played by an emu (limu emu tm) . It will encourage high quality high creativity ideas as you are judging what you think will help you advertise best. Or makes you laugh, whatever. Maybe include video or written word too?
Id like to see you get something out of the contest for the great prizes you put out to us.

Guys, you are all barons and lords AFAIC, your appreciation is... ...appreciated! If you could each message me your T-sizes, and your T-levels, we'll see how Well-Hung you actually are! I probably have your mailing addresses, unless you've moved over the past year. As well, I do require a old school leather straplock leather colour from @tomringg, and a pic of a needy guitar to strap from @BrianSkeezer and his preferred Tee colour. @Chocol8 no obligation to purchase anything, but if you choose to, please message me before pulling the trigger.

@Nomad, I absolutely love your "strapporn" idea. I very well might do this. I am very seriously looking for more great strap shots that fully showcase the strap as much or more than the guitar both for here and to keep feeding my fairly young subreddit r/guitarstrapporn .
If you happen to reddit, please check it out.

This idea would be a concept I would personally jump all over because I dig taking "pitchers" almost as much as guitarin', but I wonder how many others would get fully invested into this?
Might be worth trying for one year anyway just to break things up. We all can use practice taking tastier photos.

Load some film into your cameras fellas, let me think a bit on this idea a bit.

I can’t imagine the pain of disappointment from opening a cereal box from the great north, only to find that there is no strap inside.

I have not looked at inventory in a while, but I may order a custom something instead. Please allow me a few days to ponder my options and search my deepest inner desires. It won’t be T-shirt weather here for another 6 months so I don’t think we need to rush. Unless you need to clear inventory ahead of the next RCMP raid on the Strap Lab, in which case I can sympathize.

P.S. I have looked over my phone every which way and I can’t find any opening in which to insert the film. If I do not enter the 2020 Strap-on Lotto, chalk it up to technical difficulties, as it certainly won’t be from a lack of Well-Hungness.
