I can't speak for the right-handed models but I don't think the left-handed ones (including a Douglas version) have been in stock for over three years...

the link seems to pop up on an an alder model, like its page title. Rondo must us NA for natural alder as well as ash? Go figure.

No, you were right. The ad says alder but it looks like too much character . Is a toss up if kurt just grabbed the wrong pic or the wrong desc. Or he just picked an alder with the most grain?

I agree. The ad says alder, but that pic is ash.

Love the concept, but those poorly matched body segments are ass ugly to me.

Yeah, I don't think Rondo has had full size bodies for quite awhile, have they?

I have a feeling that's an old pic from a previous (but similar) model. Has the old headstock design too.

So whats the review on these? I see this and one in 2tsb with the dagger headstock.

Are these ash (as it appears) or alder (as stated)? Description says bound neck but no binding in pic.

Looking for a semi tele but not sure if i should trage my gibby sg for a G and L usa asat thinline. Or just noodle and mod a SX like i used to?

That definitely looks like alder to me and not ash. Can't speak to the binding but with Kurt the usual way to go is to trust the photo and not the description, since the pic obviously otherwise describes the guitar to a t and the descriptions are often copy/pasted with no proofreading :).
