That one wasn't available for long, but is perfect for a Bigsby, as you can see.

I'd pick that one up too.

I remember when they first came out quite a few people thought they were fugly. I always liked and wanted one, but have never pulled the trigger on one. By the time I wanted one, the lefty options have been so limited. In addition, as mentioned in this thread, I think there are quite a few simple design flaws in the guitar that really should be corrected. While I was reading the thread, I got the idea that maybe if there's enough interest then perhaps THIS should be the guitar we strongly ask Kurt to produce for us instead of the double cut LP that we endlessly discussed in another thread.
So many people complain about the bridge, tuners, nut, having to shim the neck, and the horrible location of the volume knobs. Why not ask Kurt to correct all these design flaws and upgrade it a bit, and produce this as your next Agile guitar? It would certainly be unique and very appealing to a larger audience. At least in my opinion....

I've got two, and I'm doing my best not to get the LPB P90x3 rosewood.

I would have preferred the 2 pick up but also got the same guitar as the OP.
I used to clash with the middle pickup at times have not thought about it since - until this thread reminded me.

Mine had a poorly cut nut - high slots but very playable other than that.
I elected for better tuners and a Gibson P90 in the bridge.
    love this guitar.

I didn't love them at first, but dang when I first saw a naural ash model, that was all kinds of cool.

Yeah I've got this SX JZM62 also (bottom of pic, with other SX's's's's)

I'm thinking the trembrato assembly on the one I've got coming will be an improvement over this one. I bought a Whizzo Buzzstop for it, but never got around to installing it

    Where did you find it?

This shape is the SX equivalent to what Agile means to the Rondo name. It's really unique when you think about it. The remind me of an old Fender shape that never was. That also turns people off to them.

Kurt should really keep these in the game. The Bigsby option with this model was always the first thing I thought of & regret not grabbing one. The Furrian headstock was the deal breaker if you can believe that.

Ebay. I knew I wanted another JZM/Liquid without having to deal with the stupid jazzmaster trembrato.
Also I don't generally go for black guitars, they just sort of disappear onstage. But when they first came out, that's all you could get. I loved the later-offered seafoam and robin's egg blue colors, (I think they called it powder blue) but for some gigs that just wouldn't go over well...

When I focus on a certain guitar, and decide I want one, I often try to acquire what is to me the ultimate example/specimen.
I may have succeeded here, we'll see.

Kurt is sitting on a great idea and doesn't even see it. This should and could be the flagship Rondo unique guitar.

When my grandkids come over with their friends, it’s not the Ric, Fender Tele, custom made LP, it’s always the CAR Liquid they always go to, to look at.

While I kinda agree with you, I would add that for me, the SX KY1/ISIS/SIS (which rondo had moved to their Hadean line) was SX's major contribution to rondo's line. And now that it's a Hadean which is a rondo house brand name, it's more like Agile's contribution.

Good point. I'm not familiar with that one, but to me it looks PRS or EVH like. Something that existed. The SJM/Liquid had it's own identity exclusive to Rondo. I'm sure if one were to snoop enough & similar shape could be found in some other brand.

Maybe I am missing something here, but isn't this an SX design? Isn't Rondo just a distributor for SX, and Kurt would be stealing their design? Isn't there a version of the Liquid that SX has for distribution in Europe that is not available here in the US?

Yes, SX is a company separate from Rondo and not a Rondo house brand. Which makes me wonder if he had to pay a fee to have the KY1 (an SX model) made into the Hadean (a Rondo house brand) ISIS/SIS?

As for the European exclusive Liquid, do you have a pic?

Yeah, it's not as unique as the liquid. But it is a kind of unique confluence of influences from other guitars, lower horn from PRS, arched top, thin body, upper horn that's not really a horn. Closest thing I've ever seen is a Don Grosh Set Neck (yes that's the model name) but the proportions on the KY1/ISIS/SIS are nicer, IMO.

Anyways I do have a Liquid and it's a great, comfortable design, but I really like my KY1/ISIS/SISes more.

When I move to Austin in April, my two young nieces wanted to see my guitar collection, all 20 or so. Their favorite by far was the blue SX Liquid. They thought is was super cool.
