Ok, ya got my attention now.

Please don't let the LP have a pointy horn . . . and please don't let the SG be melted.

You've really got to go out of your way to mess up a Strat or Tele, so I'm not too worried about those.

By "Thinline", is that that those semi-hollow tele's?

I'm definitely interested in a tele, and possibly a strat. I've wanted some single coil fun, but I'm scared to spend too much money on them until I fall in love with them.

Mid june release for the DC. Right when I'm getting ready for camping or actually out camping. Its probably for the best.
    Flame 338s in july?????
I thought they were the next batch of 338s in june. So its a repeat of the "NEW" colors we just saw?
Maybe I luck out and dont get to buy 2 new guitars.

I signed up for the Firefly FB page just to see what all the hoopla was about and ended up being the 666th member to join. Earlier in the day I had also just filled up my gas tank in the truck and it was $66.63. I'm waiting for the 666th firefly guitar to place my order and then i'll see you all in hell.

you know, i think they were really wise to go with a 335-style and a t-style thinline: they are popular enough that people are curious about them and want them (not some weird outlandish shape but an iconic shape) but also different enough that someone might just want to dip their toes in without jumping all the way in--and there's far less competition for those kinds of slightly-but-not-too-far off the telecaster/stratocaster/les paul/sg beaten path.

Theres a pretty good demo of the DC on bookface, I didnt know the body was contoured, quite interesting. It could be a winner...

I liked that red 338 with the black pickguard. I wonder if that's considered an original color?

Very cool to see that they are rolling out an entire guitar line. Im curious if the quality will be as good as on the 338 guitars.

I would buy another if they had a burl or a nice oceanburst.

I have to say however that judging from my experience with the ff338 its a possible project. If someone were to get the guitar I got he would have had to have the files and experience to lower a high fret and set the guitar up as mine was way off. Most of us here have had enough experience to deal with it but others with less time would have just taken it to a shop at extra cost. Many of us replaced the bridge which was junk. A novice would have had a hard time playing mine right out the box and I think this should be said because mine cant be the only one. Once I went through the issues listed above I have a nice guitar, I'm happy with it and consider it a very good deal for 139.91 and free shipping.

I'm planning on getting a few more as soon as they come out.
Should be in a week or two.

They did put out 4 left overs which sold out in 27 mins.

I felt it was a pretty good guitar even with having to fiddle with it a bit so I'm looking forward to the release myself.

This is pretty close to oceanburst, no? I think this one should be coming soon.
