    'Guaranteed to catch:
    • Cords
    • Cables
    • Guitar straps
    • Extension cords
    • Headphones
    • Headphone extension cords
    • Shoe laces
    - And anything else that comes with its sphere. If left unattended it will mutate into lethal tripping devise.

    I loathe this thing.

Yes. I thought it was only me who catches the guitar strap in this infernal thing.

I bet this won a design award when first produced.

I have one of those things. I have to keep it near a wall when there's no guitar on it, otherwise I'll trip over it every freaking day.

If there's a cord or anything to trip over, my feet will find it. They're particularly fond of headphone cords. I can't tell you how many times my head gets yanked back down, or the headphones get pulled off my head because my foot was on the cord when I decided to stand up.

    Stands are a necessary evil.

Here's a tip for you foam pool noodle lovers. I slit pool noodles lengthwise, trim them to length, and wrap them around any protruding table edges in my music room. Then I can sit the guitar on the floor in front of the table and rest the neck on the foam noodle. Its handy, its stable, and it doesn't knock the guitar out of tune when I sit it down.

So true. There's the "wtf!" moment followed by a "dammit!" thought.
