    The rules:

Post the guitar or bass that has your eye today. Pics are a requirement, and any comments you have to go along with them are welcome. Post a different guitar or bass daily.

For my first entry, I will stay close to home:

That thing is killin' me. I don't like wide necks, and it's not the black flame, so I'm safe for now. Oh, and... I'm kinda broke, so that helps. Still, even though it's price steadily climbs, it's still a good deal considering the decent rep Agiles have. I love the neck through exposed on the backside, and I've wanted an AL for ages. I really should buy a bass before this, tho.

A Rickenbacker 4003 has been at the top of my GAS list for years, and will likely continue to be for many more. I've owned two over the years and stupidly sold them when I needed money, figuring I could always replace them but not realizing the prices were going to go through the roof. The thing is, I already have a P and a J that cover all the ground I need to, but god damn I just WANT a Ricky.

That one has tempted me too, though I am unabashedly a Tele guy.

Custom made parts caster. This one in the picture is Tommy Castro's. It's got the CBS Fender Head Stock and a hard tail. I want mine in Pelham Blue with a white perloid guard(lefty) with a maple fret board. The quote I got from the builder is 2200 bucks. . Since 2200 for a parts caster is utterly freakin absurd, I'm in the process of sourcing the parts and will have it built by my local luthier. Right now, the body is really tough to locate. The rest of the parts are readily available That said, I have yet to purchase those parts, as it makes no sense until I have the body first. DOH !!!!. All in it should be about 1500 if I buy everything right. This is the only thing missing from my stable. If I'm able to have one built, I can officially call it a day and be done buying guitars. If it never happens, that's life and it wasn't meant to be. Other than this one and a few Benton's on order, I'm totally out of GAS and very content & happy where I is. :) Sorry about the lousy pic.

Have you tried Warmoth? Looks like they have a few models of the offset bodies.
