I'm prob the only one here who cares about it, but as pertains to some of my ramblings above: SOAD just announced Euro tour dates. One can only hope this leads to new music from them.

this song is very reminiscent of classic era Queensryche in some sections.

This song was a top 40 hit and used to get a lot of radio play. However, few people seem to remember it.

Over the last couple of years I have developed a real appreciation for the classical piano. And I find that the perfect compliment for one is a cello. I get great pleasure listening to these late of night, before bed.

    And then, there's this guy:

Excellent album! I have listened to it many times and it never gets old. Chapin's 2000th show.

I really like this. Didn't really pick up on the pretty hardcore punk from the albums. Supposedly this show or one of the same series of gigs in New York are where Bowie and Brian Eno were in attendance and approached them to arrange for them to go to Germany and record their first album with Eno producing it even though they didn't have a record contract.

Early recording of the Cars. Nice quality for 1979.

I have been listening to some old country since watching the new Ken Burns series.
Love the Louvin Brothers. Here is one of my favorites followed by a cover by Gram Parsons the artist responsible for turning me on to The Louvin Brothers in the first place.
