I was entranced once by a Gibson in my youth
Even now it's implanting the suggestion into your head, "You do not need that $5500 just laying around in your bank account."
My general rule is to never trust a plywood guitar, especially one from Germany.
Buy a FF338 that plays well, put similar trapeze trem on it, and plumb in your favorite pickups to suit. A good EQ box might duplicate the variatone.
Just as a test run.
That is sweet!
I can recall brown guitars, especially Gibson, in the 70's. Now they are rare. Probably whaty I find special about my '74 Ibanez 2402 double neck, which is a cherry with a hint of 70's brown.
335/345/355 - Spellbinding. Very nice. Different version in the video from the OP.

Dear Pesky's Brothers:
It has come to our attention that there is currently a dispute regarding the Pesky Estate. In our view this dispute currently infringes upon the rights of Gibson Memphis, a wholy owned subsidiary of Gibson USA in the following manner:
1) Prevents Gibson Memphis from selling any semi-hollow guitars to PeskyPesky
2) Prevents consideration of any Gibson USA guitars by PeskyPesky until estate is settled
Furthermore we believe that further delayance in probate of the Pesky estate would materially harm Gibson Memphis and its parent Gibson USA and amount to the legal equivalent of restraint of trade.
In summary, consider this letter a cease and desist in your efforts to delay the purchase of semi hollow guitars or any guitars manufactured by Gibson USA and its subsidiaries by PeskyPesky
