At my gig today. Rosewood neck , Piezo sounded like the guitar was 6 feet wide.
It's the Petrucci ultimate something. Purple like you could sit there and watch it like TV. Pertucci and bwaySteve.jpg
    Makes me look like somethin'

That's a beautiful guitar! Ernie Ball has been really knocking it out of the park for the past decade with their guitars.

Nice, that's a Petrucci JPX model I believe but with a rosewood neck. Really great guitars, I've had several Petruccis over the years and they're one of the best models in the Ernie Ball lineup. Super comfortable and very versatile.

While they don't suit my personal preference, I have tried one and agree they are extremely well made and sound great.

probably a dumb question; do all ebmm have thin/wide necks or are there some more like a gibson 60s slim taper neck shape? the ones i've picked up have all been sorta like that but i've also not picked many up because i'm lukewarm on the aesthetics, but people rave about them so i've always been curious.

Yeah I was gonna say the same , the blue stripe almost matches the guitar, maybe that why it sounds so good.

I gigged this guitar an hour after putting 18:1 Grovers on it. I've been dialing it in all week .The tuner you use means a lot with intonation. Super-accurate shows too much drift where a more averaging pitch a Snark delivers worked better. Moved saddles a ton. I can't use the lowest action because I bend a lot and use a lot of vibrato playing lead. I put a signal chain on the Zoom with enough natural overdrive for rhythm at 5 and dimed , real lead OD . Sounded great plugged in to PA.
    LOVE THIS GUITAR

I have to agree. EBJP's are amazing guitars. Worth the hefty price tag. Best part is the Sterling counterparts aren't too shabby either.

I regret selling my Sterling JP Majesty all of the time... I didn't play it much, but it was fantastic.
