So I finally addressed what I considered the few week points of my guitar. I added locking mini Grovers to cure tuning stability issues, blocked the trem for increased sustain(not a weak point, just preference), replaced the amber knobs with clear lampshades and replaced the wiring with dual CTS push/pull for independent splitting. Gone is the thin, tinny sound(which I half miss) but replaced with a full huge tone that makes the switch over a win. I also added an Oaks Grigsby 3 way and Orange drop caps. The change is significant enough that I'm still learning how I like it dialed in but I love having a full sweep on the tone pot. Much to discover here.
