I had a good V-day.
Spent the day with two of my awesome nieces, my sister-in-law and a good female friend in Austin.
Then went to see some really cool micro-operas. Great singing and hilarious performances.
Then, at the end the evening, held hands and kissed my female friend in her car.

Will you be my valentine too?
I took my mom and wife out for Chinese. Was a pretty mellow, ordinary Friday. I did get this, which was cool.

Valentine's Day is pretty special at our house. Ms Tonebender and I officially started dating Feb 14, 1982. We had some friends over and ate Italian food.
I spent many hours trying to learn to play that Steve Earle song when it came out. I used to play it about 25 times a day. It is one of my favorite songs by Steve. It is just so raw and pure. A lesson for any aspiring song writer.
Did I learn it? Well, I could play and sing it but nothing like the real thing.
