    The half guard is a '61.

    I dont like the looks of a batwing on an SG either.

    Yup . Not a big fan of the red wash finish either. I'd like to do a walnut pg with an amber to classic TV yellow finish on body.

    Too me, it's all about the 45 degree bevel on black pg for the '61's. No other option. None. Nein. Nada.

    reposting to compare to pic above.
    I want to do a custom pg similar to @idiotsdelight post but a lower swoop going to the selector to hide that routing and extend the pg just over halfway between the pups. Then the little piece between the neck and pup. Bang! A pseudo61!
