Anyone out there with any up close experiences with these 2 combos? One uses EL34's & the Vox uses their signature EL84's. Which one would offer more clean headroom? Thanks all!!

I had the Vox you refer. It has lots of head room like an AC 15 and is a very versatile amp. It has a boost on the clean channel that is as good and the drive channel on many amps plus it has the drive channel. It kinda gives you three tonal options in a small package. I used it primarily for practice because I had clean, rhythm crunch and lead tone all in one small package.

I have had a lot of amps and I think I owned the BS HT20 too but I remember nothing about it so it must not have been to my liking. I own neither currently. My HT5 sounds fantastic but not much headroom. The drive channel on that HT5 is to die for.
