What Ever Happened To The Al-1900's?

    I feel like they made their debut and then disappeared very quickly, never to be seen since.

    I remember they had some color variations that the higher models didn't offer.

    They seemed to sell out (at least) somewhat quickly. What gives?

    I don't recall if they were even around long enough for a member here to pick one up and give a proper review.

    If memory serves, they had bolt on necks.
    Les Paul fans do not buy bolt on necks.

    Yes, 100% true. They were bolt-ons, but the price was low. I was tempted but never went through with it. I'm just surprised they were given up on so quickly. One run and done, so it seems.
