As far as I know the VSA575 guitars were never sold in the US. I suspect the listings that you saw were actually coming from the UK. You can usually tell because the shipping is very high!

You're right. I didn't pay attention to the listing location. I see them from the UK & AU.

Now I'm really glad I scooped it. Here's what I envisioned, but without putting my hands on I won't know if it's possible. I'd love to find a sheet of red tort celluloid for a pg, but that's miles away.

Because Scotty Moore... Geordie Walker... Greg Koch...

His gurning face at the end is hysterical.

I think its doable to make that guitar similar to an ES-295. I believe the body dimensions on those guitars are very similar to that of their Gibson counterparts. I believe the reason they don't sell those particular Vintage guitars in the US is due to the fact that they are possibly too close in shape to the Gibson/Epiphone models and hollow bodies are slow sellers (in general).

I just got a pair of wireless headphones. They work great, but it's a hoot every time I turn them on. The young lady's voice that tells you the set is on and then that it's paired is in extremely broken English and with the accent is very entertaining.

I impulse bought this LPB Jazzmaster yesterday on FB's Offset group. It's not here yet, but I must say I loved the mods the buyer did. Hipshot locking tuners, JBE Two Tone, and Mastery bridge. I didn't get a crazy good deal, but I should be able to sell it for what I paid for it if I'm patient so it meets my criterion for acquisition.

Been an expensive week....this showed up on Facebook. Epiphone Ltd. Ed. Slash "Rosso Corsa" Les Paul. I made the seller an offer he should have refused, but he did not! Literally and figuratively like new. Foot disclaimer: these are the sellers pix.

Mine too. Every time I turn them on it's "Welcome. Power on now. You are the connected to device." I chuckle every time

I don't have many items left on my GAS List. As soon as I sell something I have just not "bonded" with....something on the list pops up to take its place. Cycles of buy/sell are quirky. Not so sure about vultures, but Slash and Johnny Winter fans maybe?

I've never tried one of those, but I hear the necks are thick! Please let us know when you get a chance. Nice acquisition!

Very cool. I have no idea why I like it so much. I like a relic. Never liked an RD. Looks like it would be selling on etsy. Nice to see something different AND like-able.

I wasnt sure if it was bound neck or not i thought it was maybe a shadow, glad its bound. I have a bound neck furrian ash tele now. theres something about that bound neck that just makes it easier to play imo, guess its a mental thought from starring at lp bound necks for year that a bound neck just feels better than an unbound neck lol.

A matched pair of JJ EL84s for my Vox AC10C1. The stock toobz have a slight rattle, which is apparently normal for this amp.

Can you teach an old dog Geezer licks?
We'll soon find out! I got the Behringer Thunderbird Amp (a few posts above) mainly for guitar, but it really is a bass amp. I was all set to sell it this weekend. Saw this pop on Facebook this morning. Seller 5 minutes from my office....made an offer.....sold!
    Looks like an older headstock?
