    I loaned my nephew a couple years back my Douglas Shadow pro that I installed a pair of gfs mean 90's in.
    My sister bought him a 70' s Stratocaster that he likes a lot better so he gave me my guitar back.
    Here she is. a46f2fc94d8536d3c0e43a70360b7503.jpg

    In January I pre-ordered the Dookie Drive and the Jimmy Page Dragon Tele. I never expected they would both ship the same week. I received the Dookie Drive yesterday and got a call yesterday evening that the Dragon tele was in. This morning I received the shipping notification and an email containing actual photos of my guitar.

    I'm not that far from Sweetwater so it should arrive tomorrow.

    I've been on the lookout for a good deal on a Boss DS-1-4A. Recently I did a quick search on GC Used and I guess my timing was perfect because low and behold, they had one listed in great condition for $29.99. I guess the sales schmuck who listed it didn't realize the 4A version is a special edition. Needless to say I couldn't click "buy" fast enough. It arrived yesterday and it's basically new in the box with the plastic bag and all the documentation. Score!

    Here's a couple of new pedals that made the board....
    ==========================================================

    Mad Professor Little Tweedy Drive
    The Little Tweedy Drive is voiced after the famous small Tweed amp tone, like the tone on Tweed Deluxe. The Little
    Tweedy Drive provides a vintage tone that is used on many recordings: big, fat & punchy midrange with a sweet growl
    reminiscent of the late 50´s amplifiers. The Little Tweedy Drive has a tone that almost purrs!

    ==========================================================
    Mesa Flux Drive
    The FLUX-DRIVE™ is the overdrive pedal for those who want more of all the best things from an overdrive! It has more
    liquid gain and enhanced sustain that easily feeds into rich harmonic overtones making it incredibly addictive and
    inspiring to play, whether into a clean amp channel or especially to enhance a crunch or higher gain channel! It also
    offers a more complete tone-shaping network with individual Treble and Bass controls.

    ==========================================================
    One day I'll find the sounds that I hear in my head. I've found a few, but not all of them.....yet!

    It's supposed to be closer to the original circuit, including the chip. I forget the details but they can be found via Gooble. I haven't owned a DS-1 in years so I can't compare but this one does sound pretty great!

    I'm sure that everyone just waits around with baited breath for me to post some new gear....:ROFLMAO:
    So here are a couple i picked up.

    ==================================================================================

    FULLTONE OCD-Ge
    [IMG]
    The Fulltone OCD-Germanium hasn't been on the market very long. In fact, I can't even find a video of it.
    I just bought it off the strength of the regular OCD's reputation. You'll just have to be satisfied with a photo and the
    write-up.
    The OCD pedal is the only pedal that uses 2 x Mosfets configured as hard-clipping to 'Voltage reference" instead of the
    usual way: to ground." The earliest OCDs used 2 x Mosfets plus 1 x Germanium diode, but very quickly these diodes
    became harder and harder to find, and they became expensive.

    Recently I stumbled across a reasonably large stash of the right kind of Germanium diodes so I ponied-up and bought
    all of them. So I decided to do a run of the ultimate OCD: a Custom Shop offering with a few circuit tweaks using 2 x
    Mosfets plus 2 x Germanium diodes, and one hell of a beautiful paint job... Metallic Teal with a chrome undercoat!
    This beauty morphs between blues and greens depending on the light and angle. And what would the ultimate OCD be without a Blue LED? The sound? Great definition, more tube-like feel, a bit wider dynamic range, more sustain,
    and a more focused single-note tone. And as with all Fulltone pedals... 100% Built in the USA.

    I got one of the "hand-signed by the man himself" ones. BFD....what difference does that make....NONE!

    ==================================================================================

    I gotta say, this next pedal has made more of a (IMHO) improvement in my sound than most of the pedals
    I've bought over the course of the last few years. I just love it. LOVE it! Making me sound nearly good
    takes a helluva pedal.

    EQ is a great way to shape your tone that way too many guitarists ignore.

    My two latest “gear“ acquisitions…

    I bought this ... wanting to add a little color to my very black and silver tele...
    738BE259-2580-4B95-86A6-6D0A86C2FA41.jpeg

    Having enjoyed the slight change in look to my tele... I decided to buy this other switch tip for my JM Jazzmaster ... Which I will drill a hole in to make fit on the three-way toggle switch.
