I'll also say no to politics and religion. I'm a religious person, don't care about politics, but I try to never talk about either to anyone other than family. I just got back from a business trip and the simple mention of Fox news during dinner made the table start bashing one another. Found out who was who, but it only made me like them less. That's not my goal in life, to like people any LESS haha

I agree but its a losing proposition long term as it seems virtually everything is being made political and more subjects are becoming more like a religion. Remember when the weather was a safe topic :)
How long before before making guitars out of wood will be considered killing the planet and a personal attempted murder on someone.

    Pshyco is missed, for sure.

Politic and religion topics are ok IF they are for like minded people. I´m gonna put us as an example: chavistas sub forum, and no chavistas sub forum. I know which I´ll join in. But if you make that forum for both parties, hell will cut loose. I have more than enough of that here where I live.

Do we need that here? I don´t think so. I prefer AGF how it is right now, even though I´m not as active as other members are.

Guitars, amps, cars, food, and our own personal situations we often share here is the perfect forum recipe.

Like Tobijohn said, we can talk in private about any of those two subjects -as I have done, by the way-.

They should all be kept separate here!
Well, unless someone is posting about playing their 8 string Agile with their praise band at a political rally.
But, other than that, keep ‘em separated!

It says "on the 7th day he rested, NOT the 8th !"...8 string guitars in a praise band is blasphemy !

There are only 6 days of work hence why guitars should have 6 and only 6 strings.

I love talking politics and religion and good debates on anything, but in my 5 years or so on AGF I've appreciated this is one of the few areas of my life where I'm not exposed to it. We all come from various backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, etc., for better or for worse, but ultimately we signed up here for one main thing: guitars and our love for them, and everything else that we bond on just makes the time here that much sweeter. Seeing others hyped on their new gear makes me happy, and although I don't post too often anymore because of life, I still drop in and enjoy seeing everything with a chime-in from time to time.

on the topic of PsychoCid, I do recall him moving up to the PNW (Oregon?) and saw him get into the spat with TC, but I hope he's okay. I remember jamming with him and Mossman and enjoying it, and even tho I definitely felt outclassed in terms of playing, it was fun jamming with members on the forum!

I'm still here...and am in the AGF FF league, I just haven't posted much, as life sometime gets in the way, but this forum is fantastic, and I've had many a great time on here over the years. Speaking of which, I need to post some new gear threads. Niko took a bit of a respite as well, but he's resumed uploading content on his gear YouTube channel, who knows, he might make an AGF reappearance.

And it wouldn't be a Danny post if I don't follow suit. I'm alive! I'm actually prepping a return to AGF in new guitar day of doom posts. I've just been working on my self control in my time away. I did very well for while but of late I'm off the deep end again!

Tyranocaster was a first-class Dick. That is all I have to say about that.
