I finished the last tiny bit in a bottle of Evan Willimas 1783.
I'm a VOB fan for sure. Didn't realize it was such a pain to get it outside of KY. I guess this god forsaken place at least had that going for it.
Good stuff. A staple at our hunting camp.
My wife and I were the only 2 on the tour at Heaven Hill in Bardstown, KY. This is our tour guide Kathleen and myself inside the Bourbon Heritage tasting room.
Wow, nice! A bourbon trail tour is on my bucket list for sure.
That Henry McKenna 10 Year Single Barrel is fantastic. One of my sub-$30 go to bourbons.
I'm about to get a taste of some Elijah Craig 23 year. Smooth stuff. Expensive if you can find it.
I'm personally not crazy about the high rye whiskey. But if you are, Henry McKenna is a good one.
Whiskey Women and Blues..........Neal Schon
Spendin' some time with Uncle Jack from Lynchburg, TN right now
I'm dealin' with the Devil's Cut...........
Henry McKenna 10 for me this evening.
Damn. It gets me every time. It's just so delicious. I've never had a wine or beer that makes me instantly entertained in the first sip.
Possibly the only other time I can recall such a reaction was back when I first started drinking with vodka and Dr Pepper...generally at 10, 2 and 4 only with the am/pm reversed
What are you sippin on Cid? Sounds right up my alley!
A whiskey thread?! whatttt time to catch up!
You can say that, bro!
Out of sleep, I spent some time checking international news from different sources, and from what I hear, you might as well stock up on the stuff that makes you feel good, 'cause you will need it.
Seconded. I need to know what you're talking about.
I be talkin about whiskey! Unless it's some trash well drink, any half decent whiskey does it.
In that case it was Dewar's. Nothing special at all. But it is whiskey.
I look at these pics in the a.m. they make my stomach rumble. I'll have to check this thread out again before dinner and be sure to pour one.
Gotcha. I was hoping for some otherworldly whiskey I'd yet to discover.
But I agree. Bourbon makes me feel that way.
I'll be honest, I was slightly disappointed because I thought you had an insight on a magical brown elixir the brand which I have yet indulged in, but then my frown turned upside down because... Whiskey!
