Im looking for a used but good condition SX liquid, color does not matter much but I am looking for ones that mainly have a 2 P-90 or 2 humbucker setup and rosewood or maple is fine as well, I prefer hardtail but trem is ok too... however I dont want to pay near what a new one costs so please dont offer one to me for $150 + shipping.

Maybe call Guitar Center and tell them this is priced 70% more than if it were new? Sometimes they will correct their crazy pricing. Sometimes...

That is criminal, more specifically, it’s highway robbery.

While I admire the bargain hunter approach on expensive gear, I personally believe that refusal to pay retail price for a new Liquid is an exercise in self spite.

They are such great guitars that they ARE a bargain at full price.

I used mine for the majority of my gig Friday.

Nothing worse than being accosted and hoodwinked by hoodlums and rapscallions on a boulevard, only thing worse is private way robbery, because literally, no one will be there to help you.

I freely admit to being a bottom feeder a lot of the time with gear; but I would have no problems coughing up the $180 a new one would cost me shipped. The only reason I haven't sprung for one is I'm not sure how much play it would get.

Well I really dont like the 3 p90 setups on the current ones, and I dont like the back one with trem so thats why I havent bought new. Maybe if they got some 2 pickup style hardtail ones I would buy new.

Also, Im not excited to buy a new replacement one where its not rosewood on the fretboard anymore. I would rather find an older one with rosewood.

Being a lefty I've only had the choice of blue with either the trem and 2 pups or 3 pup hardtail. I'm probably more partial to the 3 pup version . Different strokes.

Does anyone feel like we have more lefties per capita on AGF than most if not all other guitar forums?

Mine is a 3P90. I like the tonal options it allows with that configuration. The only hum cancelling position is Neck+Middle.

Do you think thieves and robbers attempt to hold people up on toll roads or do they stick to freeways?

Good question. Let's ask the folks who set prices over at Gibson.

Blame Rondo's previously well stock left handed section.

Okay, this is why I am confused. Calling @tobijohn - this is what I was talking about. But Tobijohn checked his and his is canceling in positions 2 & 4. AFAIK, that's how it should be. EDIT: also, since the wiring is posted on the Rondo site, it looks to me like it is supposed to be like a Strat and I am guessing something isn't right with yours if it is only hum canceling in one position.

Sounds like they put the reversed pickup in the neck position instead of the middle position.

IDK...many have weighed in on this, including Scott Grove in his YouTube review, and although it's illogical, it's consistent.
