    This got my attention:

    green epi dc.jpg

I just wish they wouldn't put the switch on the horn!

    This is nice too (Mojave):

    mojave epi dc.jpg

But this is just the epitome of FRICKIN' CLOWNY!

    clownburst epi dc.jpg

    Red

    red epi dc.jpg

And I know a lot of y'all like the Trans-Black (or, "Midnight Ebony")... I do too!

    black epi dc.jpg

Doesn't look like these have dropped yet... They're not on the GC website, anyway (I haven't looked anywhere else yet). They'll probably be part of the Post-NAMM deluge of new gear... The most wonderful time of the year!

I bet they street for about 800 bones.

Pretty cool, though for $800 (I'll second that guess), I'd look at other options.

I was so let down with both epi and gibson quality a few weeks back that I'll definitely pass on their prs guitar option.

I second the sexy greenburst... that is always one of my favorite finishes.

IF it comes in lefty at all, they probably won't bother with a left handed model.

Love love love that guitar. Been waiting for them for many years. I almost bought a Delray back in the 90s and still kick myself for not caving in. Di yall read the specs. Coil taps treble bleed reverse phase. Sounds like a winner to me. Plus its gorgeous.

I really like the body style, echoeing the switch placement... why? It would be cool to have a greenburst match for my LP, and
24 frets would be nice - but... (and I really hate to be the guy to say it), that massive epi floral bubblebut headstock is a kind of a boner killer for me
Even from up here in Canada I can feel the headstock diving just looking at it

That would be a super cool guitar at, say, $450. Especially since you know it's trade value will be about $300 tops. I'll simply never pay a lot for anything with Epiphone on the headstock except maybe an Elitist Casino.

Yeah, I'm waiting on the Agile 2200 reissue, myself. I was hoping that would show up this month... Any word on that yet, @tobijohn?

I would even be hard pressed to pay $600 for the Epi DC, and I don't see it going for any less than that.

Reminds me of a brand new 2005 Gibson LP DC in Lemonburst, that I passed on and regretted.
