Tonight's gig was in a bigger place. Guitar sounded great though the PA. Wish I had some more direct pics but these give you an idea of the size of it. The guitar is feather light and very resonant with excellent sustain. The setup is great.
Guitar sounds , feels and looks amazing. I'll be playing tomorrow night in a back room of a bigger restaurant that's very animated and noisy. I like playing there because the racket is distracting so it's a good focus exercise.

Given that the pedal is a big part of my sound, having played this guitar at 3 gigs in a week I can say that if the instrument holds up over time ,it will be my greatest buy of an acoustic guitar. I'm in a world of Martins, Gibsons and Takamines. A good part of my audience are musicians. The response by people who know sound has been incredible. The coolest thing about the guitar is the setup. The bridge the nut is one of the best jobs I've seen on a guitar in this price range. I have 2 acoustics with an unusually loud bass. They feed back, they overwhelm a PA. This guitar has a ring to it that's unique and I haven't kicked the feedback suppression ( 3 bands) once.
I have smallish hands ( compared to what I've seen) so the length is perfect to let me save energy during a performance mentally and physically because it's easy to fret. At the nut the guitar is wider so even though I don't have to stretch, my fingers don't bunch at the lower frets on tight chords like on my APX2 . Brilliant design philosophy.
Because the body of the CSF3M is thicker than most 3/4 guitars it has a very big acoustic sound compared to other minis. I know I'll own a Taylor GS mini someday because of the obsession but I am very pleased with this one and if I was "forced" to own a single acoustic this would be it . I hope they come out with a cutaway version if this one is successful. The market has been so saturated with the mini Taylors and even HPL Martins I doubt this will happen.
Big music weekend with Steely Dan/ Doobies at Bethel Woods and gigs upstate Sunday morning and Monday night. I will bring the Yamaha.

Never could get the hang of that gunslinger style of playing.
