The guitar is a late 90s Squier Affinity Strat modified with ALNiCo III pickups.

For fun I'll let you fellas guess about the amp . . . if it even is an amp. No clues!

Apologies for the weak vocal effort. Maybe picking up a smoking habit and increasing my whiskey consumption might improve the bluesy character of my voice.

Completely agree. There's something so enjoyable about playing the blues in B minor. It's a very comfortable position with that basic pentatonic box at the 7th fret, the great open string possibilities at the nut end of the fretboard, and that b string you can drone on.

    Very nice job. Much appreciated.

    Played on a re-purposed 1960's Sudfunk?

Love it. I'm not even going to analyse or guess, just going to enjoy. Probably my favourite type of Blues right there (now watch me say exactly the same thing if you ever post a Chicago Blues track)

That would be the Archer Telephone Listener. Good guess, but no.

    Excellent blues.

    I think you'd enjoy a Boss MA-1.

Thanks man. Hey, did you know that the lick I do around 3:58 has often been cited as one of the very first recorded instances of right hand tapping. ZZ Top recorded that tune back in 1975.

Edit: And I never heard of the MA-1 before. Very interesting!

Very authentic sounding, including what seems to be more reverb in certain sections. Been awhile since I listent to the original tho so I may be mistooken.

It's the solid state amp you picked up a few months back?
